The Dos
1. Do stand for all introductions and always use the proper form
2. Do give a firm handshake when meeting and departing
3. Do turn off your cell phone during meetings
4. Do give visitors, or clients with an appointment priority and respect
5. Do learn proper dining skills
6. Do write "thank you notes" to show your appreciation
7. Do answer all of your communications
The Don'ts
1. Don't place your personal items on someone's desk
2. Don't substitute a kiss for a handshake
3. Don't fail to identify yourself during a phone call
4. Don't fail to respond to invitations that you receive
5. Don't tell someone that you do not remember his or her name
6. Don't get too involved in a person's personal business when you first meet
7. Don't ask what is this -- when someone pass something through you to someone else
